Weekend full of John Deere

This past weekend we headed off to Moline, IL to visit my Uncle and Aunt, and also to check out the John Deere area! Dave and I had toured the John Deere combine plant a few years ago with friends but this time we went to check out the museum, JD headquarters and the JD store! We had a nice weekend away from home. We weren't sure how this would all play out with 2 little one and one hotel room. The first night took a little while to calm down and get to sleep with all of us in one room (about 1/2 hour, not to bad!) By the next night we were all wiped and it only took about 10 min for us all to be out! We had a great time with my uncle and aunt and seeing there new home! We really enjoyed the Quad Cities area, it is rolly and a really nice area to visit and live! Thanks Uncle Les and Rhonda for being our tour guides! Here are a few pics from our trip!

PaPa's New Pop-Pop!

Papa got a new Model B tractor and is keeping it out at our house! So last night Papa came out to give Bo and Daddy a ride on it and teach Daddy how to start it up! Bo then talked about it the rest of the night, even wanted to pray for Papa's Pop-Pop when he went to bed.

The Big 2!

Last night we celebrated Bo's 2nd birthday with Mickey and family! His birthday is tomorrow so we will spend the day celebrating our little guy! Bo is so fun to be around. He has such a friendly personality and is not to shy! He is becoming such a little guy. Some of his favorites right now are tractors (of course), Cars the movie, Shrek, swimming and playing in the water, mud puddles, running in the rain, pancakes, apple juice, mow-mow (mower), helping daddy around the house, getting up way to early! Some things he doesn't like, waking up from naps, dogs, cats, any animal really (I wonder where he gets that from??), getting his hair cut.

3 months old!

Gracie is 3 months old! WOW, were does time go. She has been such a blessing in our life. She is such a wonderful baby, she is so content (sometimes I forget she around!) She has a sweet personality and loves to smile! I hope she really starts cooing soon. That is one of my favorite things with babies. Bo is sooo good with her and loves her to pieces. He can't wait till she can play with him, he is always trying to give her one of his little tractors for her to drive around. She still gets tons of kisses and hugs from him each day!

2 Months Already!

On Sunday Gracie will be 2 months old. Time sure flies!! Today we had her appointment, I sure love to go and see how much they have grown at these appts, but I HATE the shots!! And, so did Gracie, her little legs seem so sore this afternoon. Every time I pick her up she just gives out a big cry :( Hopefully it won't last to long! Other than that she had a great check up and is right on target with her development. She weighed in at 10 lbs 5 oz (which is the exact same as Bo's 2 month check), she is 22 1/2 inches tall both are the 50% for her age. She is such a little sweet heart and is a great baby!! God has truly blessed our lives with giving us our little angel!!

4 Years Ago Today!

Happy Anniversary to the most wonderful husband. 4 years ago we started our lives together and it has been wonderful to be married to my best friend. You are a great husband and a awesome Daddy! I love you so much and am looking forward to the rest of our lives!

6 weeks old

Gracie is growing so fast. She is sleeping well at night only getting up once! Though nap time during the day isn't always the same she does take pretty good naps. We are enjoying our little girl that God has blessed us with! She is really starting to smile more and is so alert.

Family Time

Last Saturday we took Dadddy into McGraw Park to show him where we get to play in the summer time. It was so fun to all be together. It was a beautiful saturday afternoon to go to the park to play and have a picnic! We are hoping to get to do this more often!
