One Much Needed Vacation!

We had a wonderful time out in California. We stayed with my aunt and uncle who live in the Thousand Oaks area just outside of LA. We had mostly beautiful weather. While out in California we went to the Ronald Reagan Museum (this was really neat), went to Disneyland for 2 days (we even got FREE tickets!!), shopped in Hollywood at The Grove and did the drive through Beverly Hills (Rodeo Drive) and then up the coast to Malibu. We had a nice and relaxing trip, Dave was sick some of the time but was a great trooper and still did everything. Bo did awesome on the plane, we even got comments on how good he was! Praise God!! We just might fly again. Bo seemed to enjoy Disneyland he just liked looking at the characters from a distance, he didn't like being to close. Disney had a great Christmas parade, that we saw the first night there. It really got me into the Christmas spirit. I just wasn't ready to come back to the bitter cold!

Winter Wonderland!

With our first snow fall here we are enjoying the beautiful site of snow from indoors!! We did take Bo out monday afternoon to see his reaction. He wasn't so sure at first, but doesn't seem to be afraid of it. It was a little windy and the snow was blowing but he just wanted to help Dad scoop the drive. Hope you are staying warm this week!
