Bo's first Farm Show!

Well we adventured out to the Peoria Farm Show today. Bo was a very good little guy. He got to see Grandpa and got to look at all of the pretty green and yellow tractors and other cool farm toys!! He was tuckered out as we left and slept all the way home. There were a few other little boys running around and Dave and I figured that in the next couple years, Daddy will have to help him crawl up into all of the big tractors!

4 Months Old

Bo had his 4 month check up today along with a few shots! He is such a tough little guy, he cried while the nurse was giving the shots and right after the nurse started talking to him and he just gave her the biggest smile! I am sure this will NOT happen in a few years! Well here is how are little guy is growing. He weighed in at 14 lbs 15 oz, he is 24 1/4 inches long! Dr. Boe says he has great head control for his age and has great strength in his short little legs. All was well and we can start on foods but I think I am going to put that off for another month or so. He is pretty content with the bottles so far and is sleeping well so we will just wait and see.
On Wednesday, Bo and Mommy get to go to there first Farm Show! Wow, doesn't that sound exciting!!! We will share some pics from our little trip later.

Getting Ready for the Holidays

This weekend was a very busy, but some what restful weekend. Daddy got 4 days off and that was sure nice since I had a cold, luckily Bo has not gotten it yet. We got our tree and Christmas decor up! These are just a few pictures we took from the weekend. Tomorrow we go for Bo's 4 month check up! I can't wait to see where he is on the charts. He is growing so fast I am hoping he will start rolling over soon, he just doesn't seem to have the desire to do this yet. He is so content to just lay on his back and play with the toys in front of him. The first picture here is one of his new sleepers and I am usually not a big fan of character out fits but this one is so cute with his little Tigger hat. Dad thinks its a bit over the top though.

He was in awe of the tree with the lights and shinny ornaments! This might be the only year where he isn't grabbing at it or trying to pull it down!!

So Thankful!

This is a picture of Bo right after he wakes up in the morning! He is so happy and loves talking the most right when he wakes up. He has been sleeping so well at night this week. He is sleeping about 9 1/2 hrs before he wants a bottle and then back to bed for another 2 hrs!! Mommy sure likes this, I kinda forgot what it felt like to get this much sleep!!
We haven't been doing a whole lot the last few weeks, well at least nothing adventurest. I think we have been resting up for what is to come in the next very busy month. We are excited about Bo's first Thanksgiving and how we feel so very thankful for such a wonderful gift that God has given us this year. Bo has brought so much joy and fun into our lives and into our familys as well. This last weekend all of Dave's brothers were home for the weekend so we spent Sunday with them in Arthur. It sure is fun to see them. Then uncle Matt stayed with us on Monday night and we took him to the airport of Tuesday afternoon. We hope you all have a good Thanksgiving and safe travels!

GO ILLINI!!

This is for my uncles who are in OHIO (and who also attend OSU)! Bo is a true ILLINI fan, yesturday he watched the entire first half laying on his boppy next to mommy, then took a short snooze during halftime and woke for the fourth quarter. He was cheering on the Fighting Illini!

Our little Buckaroo!

This week we have seen Bo grow so much and develop so many new things. First, sitting in his Bumbo, we started the week where he was only sitting in it for a few mintues by himself and today he sat in it for about 20 mintues all by himself. His head/neck are getting so strong. He is becoming for independent, he will sit and watch Praise Baby for the entire 30 mintues and just loves it! He is also playing and batting at his toys on his fishy mat and being content while doing this. At bathtime we put him in his little chair to wash him then drain the water down and lay him on his back and he just splashes around ( he might be our little fish). He is also sleeping through the night. We put him down about 8:30 and he will get up about 4:15 for a bottle (10 min) then back till about 7 ish. He is changing so fast.
Today I also decided to take a few pictures of him with his first pair of cowboy boots. This one was my favorite. He just needs a little cowboy hat!

We are growing sooooo fast!

Look at these three munchkins! They are growing so fast, Reece is able to sit on her own and Kennedy has been waving at everyone. Bo is munchin on his hands and cooing more and more. On Saturday night Grandpa and Grandma had them all at the same time for about an hour then Kennedy was picked as Dave and I and Brock an Lindsay did a date night. They had their hands full but had a blast! Then on Sunday we all got together for lunch after church. We got them all similar shirts and had to take pics. When they are this close the girls like to go for Bo and get his paci and the girls just talk each others ears off. They are so fun to watch. I think they are going to really have fun growing up together.
